Banana Bread

Moist Banana Bread

This banana bread is soft, flavorful, and comes together in one bowl.

Ingredients

  • 3 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk mashed bananas, melted butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla.
  3. Add flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon. Stir until just combined.
  4. Fold in walnuts if using. Pour batter into the prepared pan.
  5. Bake 50–60 minutes, until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  6. Cool in pan 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
