Moist Banana Bread
This banana bread is soft, flavorful, and comes together in one bowl.
Ingredients
- 3 ripe bananas, mashed
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan.
- In a large bowl, whisk mashed bananas, melted butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla.
- Add flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon. Stir until just combined.
- Fold in walnuts if using. Pour batter into the prepared pan.
- Bake 50–60 minutes, until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Cool in pan 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
